WELCOME TO VISOA - ABOUT US

The Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association (VISOA) provides information and links to resources for all stratas whether apartment blocks, townhouses, duplex/triplex/quadplex, complexes, condominiums, commercial/residential, or bare land. We are an independent, non-profit organization that was formed in 1973, with the aim to provide information to all stratas on Vancouver Island. Membership is open to all residential strata corporations that have registered with the B.C. Land Title Office.

VISOA

Assists strata lot owners and bare land strata owners in the management of their strata corporations.

Advances the interests of strata corporations and strata lot owners to provincial, regional and municipal governments.

Provides information and offers educational seminars on all aspects of strata management.

VISOA is staffed by a Board of Directors made up of 12 volunteers who manage the day-to-day operations of VISOA’s business in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the Society. VISOA's Annual General Meeting is held in February in Victoria, B.C. Seminars and workshops are held during the year throughout the Island.

We encourage you to send your thoughts and ideas to the Board in addition to adding your vote at the Annual General Meetings. As members you have a voice in the operation of the Society.
