Types of membership
Select a membership type below and pay through our easy online system. If you don’t want to pay by credit card, you can choose another payment method in the checkout.
VISOA supports members across BC. Any strata corporation in BC may join as a corporate member including condo, townhouse, bare land, or commercial stratas. If your strata isn’t a member, you may join as an individual member. If you don’t own a strata lot, you can join as an associate member. Corporate and individual members have a voice in the operation of the society and are encouraged to attend and vote the Annual General Meeting in February.
Businesses: Membership is available for businesses that provide goods and services to stratas in BC. See the benefits of membership below. Visit our online Business Directory and check out the latest issue of our VISOA Bulletin magazine, published quarterly. Business members receive special advertising rates. We also welcome business members to share their expertise by writing articles of an informational nature for our Bulletin. Articles are chosen for publication at the editor’s discretion.

How to access member benefits
If you are a VISOA corporate, individual, or associate member, login or create an online account to access your member-only benefits such as templates, worksheets, checklists and guides. Are you a VISOA business member? Visit the business directory to see your listing. Is the information up-to-date? Login to your account to update information about your business, purchase advertising, or renew your membership.
Ask the Strata Support Team
From your account, you can also submit questions to the Strata Support Team. This team provides assistance in understanding strata living and the Strata Property Act.
- Corporate members may receive assistance regarding strata council business or individual matters.
- Individual members may receive assistance regarding matters in their personal capacity as an owner, not in their role as a council member or on behalf of a strata council.
- Associate members may receive general information, not specific to any strata as they don’t own a strata lot.
